This Monday’s Good Voodoo at The Half Moon 21st May.

I have beautiful and interesting music locked in for this Monday’s Good Voodoo at The Half Moon. Rather than blabbing on and bigging everyone up too much I’ll let the artists do the talking. Read the reviews, follow the links, come along to the show.

From 8pm until 11pm, £2.50 in, food served until 10pm.

1030 The Luck
The Luck is the London acoustic duo of Max & Esmay Luck who recently released their first EP ‘Bricks’ on iTunes to great acclaim. Their unique blend of vocal harmonies and driving acoustic guitar rhythms has drawn comparisons to the sounds of Simon and Garfunkel / Fleetwood Mac and the duo are currently in the middle of writing their first album.

950 Kitty and the Claw
Kitty is a pianist, and The Claw are her beloveds Kate, Ali, Sam and Nigel. With big strings and searing guitar, they make music for your ears, your heart, and very occasionally your feet. Kitty’s been favourited by the likes of Jeremy Warmsley and 6Music’s Tom Robinson, and her new EP is due out in August.

915 Jamie West
Jamie West, winner of Young Busker of the Year 2009/10 and has been performing across Europe, U.S.A and UK for over 5 years, fusing of rock n’ roll, folk and blues into a new sound with the weight of tradition behind it.

855 Elephant
Elephant is the DIY alt-folk/pop carnation of Bournemouth based artist Alex Hall. Originally intended as a busking and recording project - the 25-year old graces the London stage for the first time in 2012 with his gloriously quirky songwriting - being played at the legendary half moon

835 Alastair James
Twenty year old Alastair James is an impressive acoustic guitarist with a dynamic, tender, soulful voice. His diverse melodic songs are an exciting mixture of genres influenced by the likes of Bob Marley, Paul McCartney, Sting, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.

815 Mitch Daniels
Having grown up in Kenya, studied in the UK and Spain and travelled at length there are many influences at work upon Mitch’s wild passion for acoustic blues, reggae, pop and expressive ballads.

The Half Moon Putney, 93 Lower Richmond Road, London SW15 1EU.
